THE LUCKYBASTARDZ

Il progetto, che prenderà poi il nome di LUCKY BASTARDZ, nasce sul tour bus dei Secret Sphere durante il loro tour 07/08 in nord Europa.
L’idea di fondare una nuova band Rock’n’Roll venne quasi per gioco, tra una birra e una sigaretta, a PACO (chitarrista ritmico dei Secret) e a GEPPO (cantante e compositore del progetto darkwave Fisheye con un passato come singer della gothic metal band Triora, che in tour svolgeva la funzione di responsabile del merchandise) durante i viaggi da una città all’altra, dato il comune amore dei due per il genere.
Concluso il tour, quello che sembrava uno scherzo divenne realtà verso Maggio '08, quando entrano in gioco EVAN L.A. (bassista noto nell'ambiente hard rock/metal alessandrino per militanze in varie cover bands) e poco dopo anche PIPPO (batterista della band metalcore Five Days Of Rain). Con questa prima formazione la band inizia a scrivere da subito materiale proprio, con PACO autore della maggior parte del songwriting, e GEPPO dei testi e di alcuni arrangiamenti.
A Luglio la band esce anche a livello live, con alcune esibizioni nell'alessandrino e nel pavese.
Ad Agosto i BASTARDZ entrano negli Authoma Studios di Federico Pennazzato per incidere un promo che chiarisce subito come la band concepisca il Rock'n'Roll: ruvido e tirato, sporco e grezzo, influenzato sopra ogni altra cosa dai padri del genere, i Motorhead.
Il promo viene distribuito ai concerti, che da Luglio a Ottobre diventano sempre più frequenti, ottenendo ottimi consensi tra il pubblico.
Verso la fine di Ottobre 2008, dopo una data al Thunder Road davanti ad un minino di 500 persone, PIPPO decide di lasciare la band dati i crescenti impegni con il suo progetto metalcore. Lo split è amichevole e il vuoto dietro le pelli viene subito colmato da MR. IMMORALE, batterista attivo nelle mondo delle cover bands alessandrine.
Dopo alcune date dall'alta affluenza di pubblico (tra le altre, la Metal Maniac Night a Cuneo), MR. IMMORALE e costretto a lasciare la band a causa dei suoi impegni lavorativi, e viene subito sostituito da MARK(batterista noto per progetti originali e cover bands).
Con questo nuovo e talentuoso batterista, tra Marzo ed Aprile '09, la band rientra agli Authoma Studios per incidere il loro album di debutto (ancora non uscito) senza pero rallentare l'attivita live per tutto il nord Italia.

BACKSTAGE HEROES

The Backstage Heroes were born in 2008 in the dusty County of Turin Rock City, after the reckless agreement between Mohicano(guitars)and Dany Disgrace(drums) with the intention to build up a rough rock 'n roll band deriving from the wild american punk's abandoning, with the most cruel sound of neighbourhood,inspired by glorious bands as Guns n Roses, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Motley Crue, and influenced by modern sleazy-rock background from north-europe (Hardcore Superstar,Backyard Babies,Velvet Revolver). It did not take long after that to find Lory Cruel(singer). This was a compromise between Chasteness, Wildness, and Mental health....three important features that the band desperately needs. The Rock-N-Roll combo was only complete when Miro Jayme,Handsome Stallone with the 4-string bass guitar joined the band a few months later. Standard bearer of the hot backstage cliche, they soon set up their theatre of horrors.. And they also set up more than 80 shows in a little bit more than one year,and make important opening act for big Rock names as Vains of Jenna,Crazy Lixx,Adam Bomb,Last Vegas,Innocent Rosie and much more.. In September 2008 theyr first EP called "stone cold cruel",with its blazing drumming and its super-vitamin-enriched rock n roll,became the most hot business card of the rock n roll band of the neighbour web. In the end of 2009,the great drummer Cris Crow,join the band replacing Dany Disgrace at the drums.. getting the band ready to record its first album that will see the light before April 2010. The Backstage Heroes' sound is featured by the immoderate riffing, portentous rhythmics, rhetorical splendours of the early 90s glam-metal bands and their "heavy" interpreting accent of the most classic Rock-n-Roll matrix.. That contributes to modernize their sound..remarkable scenic impact,exciting live shows!! What else?
